Refund Policy
Buying digital content
Across the Blue's itineraries are a one-time digital purchase: buying one gives you immediate access to the full content (the itinerary page and a PDF download).
Right of withdrawal and its exception
EU consumer-protection law generally grants a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. That same right includes a specific exception for digital content not supplied on a physical medium: the right of withdrawal doesn't apply if (a) you've given your express consent for performance to begin before the 14-day period ends, and (b) you acknowledge that, by doing so, you lose your right of withdrawal.
That's why, before completing payment, we ask you to explicitly check a box confirming both of those things. Only once you check it is the purchase processed and immediate access to the content granted; if you don't check it, you won't be able to complete the purchase.
Our policy
Given the above, as a general rule we don't issue refunds once a purchase is complete and access has been confirmed. This doesn't affect your right to have a genuine order problem fixed — for example, a failed payment, a corrupted file, or not receiving access to what you paid for. Write to us and we'll resolve it case by case.
