Philippines

Hidden lagoons, limestone islands and the best surf in Southeast Asia.

The Philippines isn't a run-of-the-mill trip. It's heat, humidity, turquoise water, chaotic roads and moments you simply can't plan for. One day you're in a chaotic city… and the next you're swimming in a lagoon that looks unreal.

But it can also be a tricky destination if you don't organize it well: transport, islands, connections… That's why this itinerary is designed so you don't waste time, avoid the usual mistakes and get the most out of every area.

Philosophy of this trip

This trip is designed to be:

  • balanced → a mix of adventure and relaxation
  • optimized → without unnecessary transfers
  • flexible → with real free time

It's not a trip planned down to the minute — it's a structured guide so you have everything under control without losing your freedom.

Best time: Dry season (December–May): clear skies, calm seas and the best conditions for island tours and snorkeling.
Estimated budget: €1,200–€2,800 (including international flights, depending on travel style)

Getting around

Between islands, the key is domestic flights and ferries; within them, scooters (very common in Siargao), tuk tuks and shared vans. Delays are normal, so leave a margin. More in what nobody tells you about island-hopping.

Who is it for?

It's a destination to travel without rushing and enjoy the process: islands, snorkeling, surf and a lot of sea. If you're unsure about the route, see Manila, El Nido, Coron or Siargao.
